UNOS Mobile Converter (MC) is a server that gathers and exchanges information from application servers through an API (Application Programming Interface). Converts them and floats it in a "bucket". The UNOS Mobile Converter is essentially used to support the URequest Service Delivery offered by UNOS.
When the user requests for the service delivery, the UNOS Mobile Converter pushes the service delivery folder into UNOS PRO MIDlet (mobile phone software) installed on the user's mobile phone.
The enterprise/corporate customer can use the URequest Service Delivery as platform to push certain services and functions to their users. The URequest Service Delivery platform is managed through the UNOS Mobile Converter housed at either the UNOS data centre or the enterprise's own data centre/premises depending on the level of security and control required by the enterprise.
Enterprises who control & operate the Mobile Converter at their own premises have option to create and maintain a log on transactions pushed through the Mobile Converter.

What is URequest? URequest is a service delivery function unique to UNOS PRO where enterprises, organisations and institutions can deliver specific services to their users via the UNOS PRO MIDlet into a specific folder in the user's mobile phone. Users can also use URequest to request for information and send authenticated and secured transactions.
URequest is a first of its kind, interactive service oriented
SMS feature. Its push technology allows the user to request for
specific services - select the service delivery from UNOS's directory listing, submit request and UNOS will push the service delivery folder to the user through UNOS PRO. The service delivery folder will be created under the "Favorites" folder. |
