On Sony Ericsson phones, select Setting.
|
Select Connectivity and click Data Communication.
- Please refer to APN Table for Connection Settings if unsure

Select Data Accounts. You need to select from Data Accounts for the Internet connection. If not found in list, create a new data account. |
Select New account and click on Add.

Select PS data.
|
Key in the Connection Name. |
Select Continue.
|
Key in the APN.
|

After keying in the APN, select OK.
|
Enter the Username.
- Please refer to APN table.

Enter the Password.
- Please refer to APN table.

Click Save and the new data account is created. |

For Sony Ericsson phones, for the Internet settings, Streaming settings and Java settings to work, you need to use the correct data account. Click on Internet setting.

Select Internet profiles. |
Select New Profile and click on Add. |
Click on Name to enter the name of the connection. |

Enter the name of the connection and select OK.
|
Click on Connect using to link the data account.
|
Select the data account that was set up earlier. |
Click on Save.

Now, back in the Internet settings menu, select Settings for Java.
|
Select the data account that was set up earlier.
|
In Connectivity menu, go to Streaming setting. |
Click on Connect using.
|

Select the data account that was set up earlier.
|
Once the Connect Using is updated to the data account, click on Save. The APN setup is now complete.
|
Test the APN settings by browsing a public webpage. If you are able to browse the webpages, then the APN setting is successful.
- Please ensure your mobile data plan is also activate. If not, please refer back to Service provider to activate 3G/GPRS.
