Do I need to get the destination country's SIM card to activate Voice-In?
When activating Voice-In services, you can select either the Follow Me or Call Alert function. With the Follow Me function, all calls to your home mobile number will be diverted to a foreign number of your choice.For maximum convenience, we recommend you purchase a destination country’s SIM card. If you decide not to get the destination country’s SIM card you can activate the Call Alert function instead. Once Call Alert is activated, your caller will be notified that you are currently overseas. The caller’s ID will be sent to you via SMS.
Should I carry one or two mobile phones whenever I travel overseas?
Option 1 – Sticking to 1 mobile phone:Either:
- Get a destination country’s SIM card (with GPRS/EDGE/3G access).
- Activate Follow Me function to this new SIM card number.
- Activate Call Divert to a “Forwarding Phone Number” by following the instructions stated on your UNOS software (The instruction to activate Call Divert will also be sent to your registered mobile number via SMS).
- Replace your home country SIM card with your destination country’s SIM card in your mobile.
- Retain your home country SIM card in your mobile phone.
- Activate the Follow Me function to any available fixed line or mobile phone number in your destination country (possibly your office or a friend’s phone number) as the designated phone number.
- Activate Call Divert to a 'Forwarding Phone Number' by following the instructions stated on the UNOS software (the instruction to activate Call Divert will also be sent to your registered mobile number via SMS).
Option 2 – Having two mobile phones while overseas:
- Retain your home country SIM card in your regular mobile phone where you have installed the UNOS software
- Get a destination country’s SIM card for your second mobile phone.
- Activate the Follow Me function in your regular mobile phone and log in the second mobile phone number into the UNOS system. Your regular mobile phone works to initiate UNOS services and to receive SMS whereas your second mobile phone is for receiving all voice calls
What number prefix do I type when I make calls?
Please type the international country and area code prefixes, e.g. Melbourne: +612 or 612 or 00612.I do not have international roaming services activated. Can I use UNOS PRO when I travel overseas?
Yes. All you need to do is to activate Voice-In Follow Me function before you leave the country. Once you have arrived in your destination country, get a destination SIM card, insert into your regular mobile phone and key in the destination SIM card number into the UNOS PRO software. You will then be contactable while you are overseas even though your home country SIM card has no roaming facility.Can I use UNOS PRO and UNOS Voice to call both fixed line phones and mobile phones?
Yes.I could not activate the Voice-In Follow Me call divert and I received an error message. What should I do?
Please make sure that you have keyed in the activation command **21*DID# accordingly. Also ensure that you have activated the call divert service with your own mobile services provider. You may also wish to note that if you are a pre-paid mobile user, call divert services may not be applicable or available to you.Do I need to unsubscribe for Voice-In when I am back from overseas?
Yes. Please follow the instructions given on the software when you cancel the UNOS Voice-In service. This instruction will also be sent to your mobile number via SMS.How will I be charged for using Voice-In?
Voice-In is only available for selected countries, please refer to the website for the country listing and Voice-In rates.For maximum convenience, we recommend you purchase a destination country’s SIM card. If you decide not to get the destination country’s SIM card you can activate the Call Alert function instead. Once Call Alert is activated, your caller will be notified that you are currently overseas. The caller’s ID will be sent to you via SMS.
The Follow Me feature, under Voice-In, will assign a local DID number for the purpose of diverting calls. You will be charged for this DID number at the start of every 3 days, until the service is cancelled. For example, subscribers from France will pay €1 at the start of every 3 days. The Call Alert feature, under Voice-In, will send you a missed call alert via SMS. You will be charged for this SMS. For Voice-In Call Alert rates, please click here .
How will I be charged for using Voice-Out?

UNOS PRO and UNOS Voice charges according to a 60-second block call period.How will I be charged for using Conference Call?
UNOS’s Conference Call function charges a voice rate and an automatic surcharge for every participant that the Conference Call is launched to. For example, a subscriber from USA will be charged the relevant Voice rates and a surcharge of US$0.01 for every Conference Call participant. For example, a subscriber from USA will need to have a minimum UNOS credit balance of US$5.00 to launch a Conference Call. This minimum UNOS credit balance varies from country to country.
