Registering and Downloading UNOS PRO FAQ



How do I register for UNOS PRO?

There are several ways to sign up:
  1. Website - Key in your details on our website and click “Download”. You will receive an SMS. Click on the link in the SMS and press “Download”. Follow the rest of the prompts to install UNOS.

  2. Mobile - Type get.myunos.com on your mobile web browser. Click “Download”. Follow the rest of the prompts to install UNOS.

  3. SMS - Type in a regular SMS on your mobile phone and send the SMS to one of the five UNOS gateway numbers listed below.  If you do not live in any of the five countries where we have our gateway numbers, please choose the country nearest to your country.

    Singapore:  +65 8399 9127
    United Kingdom: +44 77 6615 7101

    You will receive a text message containing a URL link.  Press on the download link and follow the rest of the prompts to install UNOS.

    Note:
      We will not share your information with third parties.  The information you send us is used only for sending you via SMS the link to download the UNOS software.

How do I download UNOS PRO?

You will need data connection to download UNOS. Please ensure that you have activated your data services. UNOS can be downloaded via GPRS, 3G, EDGE, WiFi accesses. Please note that data charges may apply, according to your mobile service provider.

Where do I install UNOS?

No, UNOS PRO works on your existing mobile service provider.

I was not successful in downloading UNOS PRO. I received some error message. What does this mean and what do I do?

There could be a few reasons for the error messages.  Set out below are the few error messages that you could possibly receive if you are unsuccessful in downloading UNOS PRO.

Certificate Error
If you received a Certificate Error message when downloading UNOS PRO, you will need to use your mobile phone browser to go to this link - http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/images/9/94/VerisignIntermediate2004.cer - to enable you to download and install the certificate application.  Thereafter, download UNOS PRO again.  You should not face any problems in downloading UNOS PRO once you have downloaded the certificate application.

Unexpected exception: java.lang.illegalArgumentException
If you are a pre-paid mobile phone user, please check if there is sufficient credit balance for you to proceed to download UNOS PRO and to continue with the authentication process.  If you have insufficient credit in your account, you may receive the above error message.

If you are a post-paid mobile phone user and you have received the message above, delete the UNOS PRO MIDlet in the folder where it is saved - ie. Application, Java Applications, Installations, My Own, Games or Extras folder - and download UNOS PRO again.  Should you still receive the abovementioned error, please contact our Customer Care hotline for assistance.

Error Code 001
If you have received this error message, please contact our Customer Care hotline for assistance.

Unable to verify your identity.  Please rerun MIDlet
If you have received this message, this could be due to you having downloaded UNOS PRO several times.  When you get this message, please contact our Customer Care hotline for assistance.

Error 404
If you have received this message, this usually indicates that there was a problem in connecting to the Internet.  This could be due to an unstable Internet connection, or no connection at all, which could be attributed to incorrect APN settings.  For more information on APN settings, please go to the Registration Guide in the Tutorial section of this website or click here.
