UNOS Technology UNOS PRO’s innovative design and architecture makes the MIDlet its very own Virtual Mobile Operator. UNOS PRO’s unique feature as a VMO opens up the scope of service deliveries which it can offer its customers. UNOS can establish alliances with mobile advertisers, community groups and enterprises (corporate and government) to offer them a means of communication and a means of delivery of advertising and promotional messages. UNOS is supported by Java, Symbian, and Linux operating systems. Much like a mobile phone operating with a service provider, UNOS, through its virtual SIM operating in the UNOS VMO platform, is able to interconnect with enterprise or open IP phone networks, Instant Messaging Networks, soft phones, mobile phones and fixed line phones. UNOS is initiated by way of a MIDlet (mobile phone software) which is downloaded over-the-air. Once loaded, the user will be able to access UNOS services, which presently include voice and interactive short messaging services (SMS), which we call S-MailS. UNOS is presently available as UNOS Voice and UNOS PRO. UNOS can operate on most mobile phones with MIDP 1.0 architecture (for UNOS Voice only) and MIDP 2.0 architecture (for UNOS PRO) and on any network, and is supported by Java, Symbian and Linux. The UNOS MIDlet, once downloaded onto a mobile phone, effectively acts as a new alternative operator, a VMO, through its Virtual SIM software. |
